Have a great weekend. 3.9.18

What do you have going on this weekend? Any fun plans? We have a couple little playdates and a whole lot of enjoying the beautiful (at least compared to what we’ve had lately) weather. I hope you get to rest and relax and be with the ones you love.

Here are some of my favorite links this week…

I liked this article on doing the one thing you’ve been putting off.

This cookie recipe looks amazing, and Deb from the smitten kitchen can do no wrong!

This made me laugh. This was totally my sister and I last night.

I loved this article on kids and smart phones. Super interesting read. My favorite line was, “enjoy screens, not too much, mostly with others.”

I just got this vitamin C serum and am really excited about it. I noticed the biggest difference in the brightness and overall health of my skin when I was using a vitamin C serum daily back in January!

A beautiful little quote.

Are you making any special meal for St. Patrick’s day? I’m thinking of making these Irish tacos. But if youre in Utah you can always go to O’Crowley’s Irish Tacos in Lindon for some, they’re so yummy.

This is our absolute favorite children’s book right now. It teaches such a sweet message about kindness and compassion, and the illustrations are beautiful.

I love this podcast episode of Happier, called “do something badly.” Being a recovering perfectionist, I swear by this motto.

I made this soup this week, as a non-spicy chicken tortilla soup option for my kids. It was SO good! And my Mom taught me that the toppings make the meal, so we added cilantro, avocado, cheese, sour cream, and crushed tortilla chips.

I hope you have a great weekend!
