The best Amazon Prime Day deals!

Amazon Prime Day is always exciting to me. Last year, I only bought one or two small things, but the excitement around it, and the great deals have me hooked (especially if there is something you’ve been eyeing, or you’re buying for a birthday, holiday, vacation coming up). Millions of products are on sale right now, so its a really good time to shop.

First of all if you aren’t a Amazon Prime member yet, you can start your free 30 day trial right now, and shop all the goodness at no cost to you!

Also, I’ll keep updating this site throughout the evening and in the morning. So check back regularly to find brand new deals!

Here are the best deals I’ve found so far, listed from least expensive to most expensive…

get 4 months of Amazon Prime music for $0.99 -I am definitely trying this deal out. I’ve heard Amazon music is super comparable to Apple Music.  I listen to music when I run, when I’m in the car, in the morning while we make breakfast, and in the afternoon for mini dance parties.

66% of Audible ($4.95 per month) -we use audible daily in our family. Nick loves listening to audiobooks for work on it, and I love listening to audiobooks while I run.

Triangle (Shape Trilogy) $7.77 (save $8.22)- a witty, and beautiful little children’s book to teach kids their shapes.

Up to 30% off select Melissa and Doug toys-Melissa and Doug makes the best toys ever. All of my children’s favorite toys are Melissa and Doug, they last forever and they are sturdy in little hands.

Melissa & Doug Sunny Patch Seaside Sidekicks Sand Baking Set $8.83 ($10.69 off)-how fun would this be for a lake or a beach vacation this summer??

LifeStraw Personal Water Filter– $9.99 ($15 off)- the perfect water filter for hiking, camping, emergency. I’ve been eyeing these for a year now to have for our emergency safety kits, but haven’t bought them because of how pricey it would be for me to buy 4 of them. I’m SO happy these are on sale now. They are the top rated personal water filter everywhere for emergencies, camping, hiking, etc.

Melissa & Doug Car Carrier Truck and Cars Wooden Toy Set With 1 Truck and 4 Cars $10.99 ($8.60 off) My boys would love this so much!

Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote– $19.99 ($20 off)-an extremely well priced streaming player (comparable to Apple TV, except way cheaper). This is such a steal.

Melissa & Doug Wooden Scoop and Serve Ice Cream Counter – $28.30 ($21.69 off) my kids have the  this set and they are so in love with it! It’s definitely one of their top three favorite toys.

Echo Dot -$29.99 ($20 off) -we have one dot and one echo, and honestly I think the dot is perfect. It has all of the same functions as the Alexa, but the speakers just aren’t as big.

Philips Sonicare HealthyWhite+ electric rechargeable toothbrush $48.99 ($71 off)-I’ve tried a couple of different electric toothbrushes, and this one is by far my favorite. An electric toothbrush is a game changer for gum and tooth health.

Instant Pot– $58.99 ($40 off)-we have the Instant pot and use it weekly. Its a really quick and convenient way to put a home cooked meal on the table. Also, as someone who is an aspiring minimalist, I love that this one appliance takes away the need to have a bunch of others. I just got rid of my slow cooker and rice cooker, and steamer because the instant pot does it all for me. And here’s one of my favorite instant pot recipes if you buy one and need something to get you started!

Echo– $69.99 ($30 off)-the larger version, for those of you who like to have the music loud for your family dance parties!

Clarisonic Mia 1 or Mia 2 – Mia 1 $79 ($50 off), Mia 2 $110.00 ($59 off) if you read my two tips for better skin post back in February, you might remember hearing about this amazing facial brush a esthetician friend recommended. It’s so great for really getting a deep clean for your skin. I have the first version (and its less expensive!) but I’m sure the second version is great too.

Kindle Paperwhite E-reader $79.99 ($40 off)-an amazing option for people that are looking for an easy and accessible way to read.  This is such a great deal! And I know people swear by their kindle paper whites!

Fitbit Alta HR $89.95 ($60 off) -If you’ve been eyeing a Fitbit to help out with your fitness routine, now is the time to take advantage of this incredible deal. Such a great option for those who want to invest in their health without investing $400 in an Apple Watch.

Sun Joe Pressure Washer $109.50 ($90.49 off) – Ok, I want this so bad! An excellent pressure washer to clean all of your outdoor surfaces, driveway, garage, outdoor toys, etc. Such a great price too.

Dyson V8 Absolute Cordless Vacuum
Dyson V8 Absolute Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner $364.99 ($135 off!)  if you have been saving up for a great vacuum, thats super light (only 5 lbs!) and easy to use, you need this! I’ve heard rave reviews about this vacuum. It sounds like a great investment.

Vitamix 5200 Blender $297.95 ($152 off!)-another opportunity to pick up an item you’ve been saving up with a super steep price drop! We don’t have a Vitamix (we got a Blendtec on sale at Costco a couple of years ago, but I wish we would’ve held out for a Vitamix) but still, we are in love with having a professional grade blender. I didn’t realize how much I loved it at first, but within the last year, I have used it so much for smoothies, açaí bowls, soups, etc, and the texture of everything is unbeatable.

What am I missing? Anything great? Let me know, and happy shopping!

Toddler Summer Bucket List: 2018

Here’s this years version of our Toddler Summer Bucket List. We loved checking things off our list last year. Only a couple of these are repeats from last years list, but they are the ones the boys really loved and will be giddy about doing again.

These lists help me be more intentional in these summers spent with my kids. I read somewhere to remember that we only get 18 summers with our kids, and to try to enjoy each moment of them (even though that can be hard for me sometimes, during meltdowns and struggling with bored little ones). This is our attempt at a game plan to help us make the most of our summer.

What are some things that you and your children enjoy doing during the summer? I’d love some ideas!
